d. The Physics of the Anti-de Sitter Spacetime,
the Law of Karma & the Dissolution of the Kosmos
As noted earlier, the physics within anti-de Sitter space has some unusual properties. Firstly, if a person is freely floating anti-de Sitter space, he or she would experience being at the bottom of a gravitational well. Thus, “Any object that you threw out would come back like a boomerang.” (Maldacena. Scientific American, Nov. 2005, pp. 60-61) The time required for an object to return is independent of how hard it is thrown, although it travels farther away on its round-trip. Maldacena notes: “If you sent a flash of light, which consists of photons moving at the maximum possible speed (the speed of light), it would actually reach infinity and come back to you, all in a finite amount of time. This can happen because an object experiences a kind of time contraction of ever greater magnitude as it gets farther from you.“
If this physics applies within anti-de Sitter spacetime—that “any object that you threw out would come back like a boomerang”—and further, that there is an equivalency between this physics and the familiar quantum theory on the holographic boundary, then we would predict the same conclusion to apply to understanding the fate of the universe: thus, predicting that the Universe will eventually, in a finite time, return to its source. This higher dimensional metaphysics in anti-de Sitter spacetime should bring about the closure of the universe projected out of this higher dimensional physics, if this equivalence holds. Any universe born from a dynamic centre would eventually return to such—like a boomerang. The point source is an initial point of emergence and ultimately the point of absorption—as determined by cycle of the Breath of the Father passing over to the Breath of the Mother. These modifications of the Ceaseless Eternal Breath, the fundamental Holomovement, determine the cycles of expanding and contracting universes. The zero point centre manifests as a gravitational well as the Breath of the Mother touches it.
This ‘boomerang physics’ of anti-de Sitter space is also analogous to the law of Karma derived from Hinduism and elaborated by Blavatsky. The effects of our actions, the seeds we sow, will come back upon ourselves and we will ultimately, in a finite time, deal with reactions and retributions upon ourselves for our activities. Similarly, anything differentiating out of higher dimensional space eventually returns to its centre, its gravitational well at the heart of being in higher dimensions. Whereas scientists regard ‘gravity’ and ‘anti-gravity,’ or dark matter and dark energy, as the solutions to the problems of universal expansion or contraction (as well as to the issues of the formation of super-galactic structures, galaxies and solar systems), Blavatsky’s Secret Doctrine allows for an alternate model and interpretation of the facts and enigmas of science.
Certainly, The Secret Doctrine predicts the ultimate dissolution of the universe. In relation to the contraction of the Universe, the Stanzas suggest that the universe contracts “WHEN THE BREATH OF THE MOTHER TOUCHES IT.” (III, 11) This suggests a variation of the fundamental movement in hyperspace, a modification of the Ceaseless Eternal Breath within the Eternal Parent Space, which serves to withdraw or ingather the universe back into the ‘bosom’ of the Divine Mother. It is also ‘as if’ the love of the Divine Mother gathers the universe or Kosmos back to her bosom or Heart at the end of time. The dissolution of the universe is back into its original undifferentiated laya centre—or zero-point condition.
Blavatsky offers a radically different interpretation of “gravity.” Rather than being the blind force of material mass/energy, she conceived of gravity as a variation of the electromagnetic force in relationship to the underlying “universal Electric Ocean, which is Life.” The Solar System has a dynamic zero point centre and the influences of the metaphysics and spin properties of its higher dimensional holes rooted in real Space serve to bind the Solar System through the varied Ethers of spacetime. All of the effects that the astronomers ascribe to ‘gravity’ are regarded as variants of Fohat, the Divine or Cosmic Electric and Magnetic forces, operative within the Aethers and ethers of Space and originating from zero point levels. The deepest Aether is the Seven-Skinned Eternal Parent Space, and the lower ‘solar ether,’ is also sevenfold and embodies the deeper ‘invisible Sun.’ Again, seven inside, seven outside.
Blavatsky’s doctrines provide a legitimate scientific model and theory as regards to the existence of such LIFE centres, and the mechanisms by which Universes might expand and contract through such zero point dynamics. She provides an alternative model of the fate of the universe and of the mechanism of cosmic dissolution, and a valuable perspective on the illusions of gravity, space and location. Further, in terms of a rebounding or oscillating universe, Blavatsky describes a sevenfold pattern to this process, and states that humankind is currently the fourth round of seven rounds in such an overall pattern of such oscillations. Between rounds, the LIFE principle may withdraw from without within from one body, into another shell, and re-emerge within another spacetime, again vivifying the ethers of another holographic shell and being clothed in new bodies.
In the Theosophical model of seven rounds of creation, the first cycles are actually within higher dimensional realms and not physical at all as we consider this. Early life is created within the sphere as a projection of the first holographic shell—the first of seven levels of the ethers of the holographic shell or boundaries. The dynamic centre is subsequently clothed in different bodies as symmetry breaking occurs within higher dimensions leading to the precipitation of varied matters, energies and intelligences, out of the ethers of Space. The spin properties of forces emerging through the interior holes dug in space, manifest in sequential symmetry breaking, and the production of various intelligences, energies and matters upon seven successive planes of being. Blavatsky’s ideas provide a provocative and detailed elaboration of a metaphysical model which is entirely compatible with modern holographic physics.
Blavatsky was fundamentally
opposed to the purely materialist view of the cosmos—which depicts
matter running down into states of increasing disorder or entropy in a
mechanical soul-less manner. Instead, she postulated a higher
physics emerging from zero point levels which introduces life into the
worlds created surrounding such mysterious laya centres. Of course,
science still has had no concept of Spiritual or Divine Intelligences
throughout the Cosmos and the laws of nature, but instead regards
terms of blind and unconscious forces. Further,
scientists have yet to conceive of how their
dynamics might apply to the multidimensional nature of their own human
